“ Decent sushi but not the best service. LA introduced sushi to America in the early 1950s so there are a ton of really great options all over town. This spot is more of an option if you're close by or don't have time for one of the well-known locations. It's located in a strip mall two blocks east of the 405 and Sawtelle. They have a lot of parking available in the parking lot attached to the mall. It's fairly small on the inside, there are about eight tables, so it would not be a good place for a large group. As mentioned the service could be better. I came in for lunch, and when I entered, I was not greeted by anyone. Then the waitress came over, took the order, with zero smile or conversation, and then forgot one of the 3 items that I ordered. They have a fairly large menu, and I would say that the pricing is fair. I chose a selection for my first visit. I ordered the Spider Roll, Miso Soup, the Salmon and Avocado Roll, and some Albacore Nigiri. All were pretty good, a solid 4/5. Everything did come out pretty quickly, even though they forgot one of my items. This location felt more like a takeout or work lunch option kind of place so I don't anticipate it being very busy during dinner time. I work close by so I plan to try again in the near future. ”
